Methylamine-modified α 2 M (α 2 M-Me) had a similar affinity for Cd 2+ (K d,app = 5.3·10 −7 M, but fewer binding sites.

All polymers were mixed in a 1:2 ratio with [60]PCBM (polymer:PCBM) at a concentration of 10 mg mL −1 in a solution of 1:4 o DCB:CHCl 3. The solutions were stirred overnight and filtered with a 1 µm syringe filter prior to spin coating.
